We would love to discuss it with you in more detail! ·         Ensures that all non-exempt accounting department employees are highly productive, execute their jobs in an efficient manner that meets company standards and customer expectations ·         Schedules staff to meet anticipated business demands ·         Trains new employees on process and procedures ·         Participates in the selection of new employees and makes recommendation on disciplinary actions, performance evaluations and termination ·         Acts as a player/coach in the department to train and motivate employees ·         Assists with completion of financial statements monthly according to dealership guidelines and the manufacture’s format and time frame ·         Reconciles select accounts monthly ·         Approves adjustments to receivable accounts ·         Ensures that all manufacture accounts including warranty claims, rebates, interest, protection, and co-op advertising accounts are current and accurate ·         Assists in preparation of Month-End Bonus calculations ·         Assists in preparation of monthly detailed expense reports ·         Assists in completion of annual review/audit ·         Maintains a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects ·         Establishes personal performance goals that are consistent with company standards of productivity and devises a strategy to meet those goals ·         Understands the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services ·         Knows and understands the federal, state and local requirements which govern the company’s business ·         Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standards and ensures that subordinates do the same ·         Follows the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct ·         Understands and follows all work rules and follows directions from Supervisors ·         Upholds the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements ·         Maintains the professional appearance of assigned work area for self and subordinates ·         Understands and follows work rules and procedures ·         Follows lawful directions from supervisors ·         Upholds the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements ·         Attends company meetings as required ·         Works evenings, weekends and holidays as required ·         Maintains a professional appearance and work area in accordance with company policy ·         Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent; and two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.    Preferred Education and Experience A.A.  degree in Accounting  or equivalent;  two to three  year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, previous experience in a position that involves handling cash is preferred as is supervisory experience
