O’Connell Electric Company, Inc., in partnership with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.), is seeking experienced traveling Electricians who are looking for their next opportunity. This union position offers the chance to work on challenging projects while remaining a valued member of the I.B.E.W.

The rate of pay and benefits offered are outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the I.B.E.W. The I.B.E.W. offers competitive pay ranging from $44.36 to $59.82 and union benefits.
The successful candidate will perform a wide range of electrical tasks on commercial projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and is completed safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Must have Journeyman-level electrical experience or licensure.
- Extensive firsthand experience with high, medium, and low-voltage systems, ensuring the safe and reliable performance of electrical equipment across a variety of client sites.
- 12,000 hours of commercial electrical experience
- Experience with installing and terminating Conduit systems (EMT, RMC, PVC), Power distribution equipment, Motor control centers (MCCs), Switchgear and panelboards, Transformers and generators.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform quality installations.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in field conditions, stand for prolonged periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to travel to project sites and work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends when required.
