📍 Based in our Lincoln City Centre office 3 days per week with the remaining 2 days working remotely
Our mission:
- Two in five people in the UK rent their homes. Our mission? To be the gold standard platform for renting
- We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution 🏠
- Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 320 Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission! 💚
The Opportunity:
- Taking ownership of claims from submission through to resolution, ensuring each case is handled accurately and efficiently
- Communicating clear resolutions to landlords, guarantors, letting agents and tenants, keeping customers informed throughout the process
- Managing all insurance aspects of the claims journey, from reviewing evidence through to conclusion
- Overseeing repayment arrangements as part of the resolution process
- Responding to inbound queries and working with internal and external stakeholders to keep claims moving forward
What we need from you:
- Experience working in a process-driven, administrative environment where delivering great customer service is at the heart of what you do
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders, both over the phone and in writing
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, manage your own caseload and keep on top of service levels
- A positive, practical approach and the ability to stay calm, focused and proactive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong IT skills and confidence using a range of software, ideally including Salesforce and Microsoft packages
It would be great (but not essential!) if:
- You have previously worked in the lettings industry or within an insurance environment.
