About the team: The Media team is at the heart of Web Summit, making sure that the world’s most influential media attend, speak at and cover our events across the world. The team facilitates the best experience for the media during Web Summits, facilitating discussion and driving coverage across multiple platforms. The Media team works with journalists on a daily basis, making sure that every significant media outlet, reporter and creator across the globe - whatever their platform - knows about, travels to and covers our events. In doing so, we drive awareness of our events as the world’s premier tech conferences - and of Web Summit as the world’s leading tech conference business. The team also secures the most impactful and relevant moderators for our stage content; arranges interviews, live podcasts, creator content, press conferences and announcements; tracks and analyses coverage; sources and highlights relevant content for attending media; and works closely with Web Summit’s key teams to ensure the maximum impact and visibility of their work.
