Why Now
CeiliX is 12+ people, €800k+ in pre-orders, and just won a trade-fair award. We build ceiling-based mobile robots for warehouse logistics — first of their kind, with systems live in the EU and US. Inbound is exploding, and our Head of BD needs a second pair of hands so deals don't sit waiting.
The Role
You're the first response to almost every customer who finds CeiliX. Emails to sales@ and info@ land with you. Layout requests for proposals land with you. Trade show logistics land with you. You triage, you respond, you coordinate — and you free our Head of BD up to actually close deals.
This is a junior role with a real path. By month three, you'll start representing CeiliX at smaller events and leading easier customer conversations yourself.
What You'll Do
-
Triage every inbound to sales@ and info@, using existing playbooks plus AI assists to draft fast, accurate first responses
-
Turn customer requests into clean proposals and layouts using our streamlined internal tool (in active development)
-
Run the admin behind trade shows and smaller events — booking, transport, scheduling, follow-up — and travel to a few of them yourself
-
Set up and maintain light Pipedrive automations so nothing slips through the cracks
-
After ramp-up: handle initial customer pitches and easier sales conversations directly
What We're Looking For
Detail obsession
-
You're the person who notices the typo no one else did
-
You don't let an inbound sit unanswered overnight
Customer instincts
-
You can read a vague customer request and figure out what they actually need
-
Calm, professional, and clear in a customer email or short call
AI as a default tool
-
You already use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar daily for real work — not just curiosity
-
Comfortable wiring up a simple CRM automation or AI workflow when you spot the same task happening twice
Must Have
-
German C1+ and English C1+ (most customers are German; the team operates in English)
-
Currently in or recently completing a Bachelor's, or equivalent evidence you get things done (side projects, internships, leadership, a real portfolio)
-
Daily use of LLM tools, with at least one example of a workflow you've built or improved with them
Nice to Have
-
Pipedrive, HubSpot, or any CRM hands-on
-
Event coordination, trade show, or hospitality experience
-
Hardware, robotics, or industrial B2B exposure
-
French or Spanish
Why Us
-
Real ownership from day one — you'll own a function, not assist on one
-
Built-in growth path — start in ops, move into customer-facing sales as you ramp
-
Real AI mandate — we want you to automate yourself out of the routine work, not protect it
Setup
Mostly remote. A few days per month at our office in Euskirchen (Cologne–Bonn area). Trade show travel across Germany. Full-time. Compensation discussed in the first conversation.
