About the Role
Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and interested in helping train the next generation of Artificial Intelligence? RWS is seeking Image Collection Specialists based in Ukraine to participate in a large-scale data collection project.
In this role, you will collect and submit high-quality, real-world images of everyday items, documents, and environmental signs using our proprietary mobile tool. Your contributions will directly improve OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technologies and multimodal AI models.
Job Type: Freelance
Location: Ukraine (work from home)
Work Schedule: Part-time - 10+ hours per week. Flexible - work whenever you want.

Rate: 6 USD per hour
What You’ll Do
Image Collection: Locate and capture real-world, original photos across 14 predefined everyday and enterprise categories.
Category Coverage: Your collection will span diverse categories, including:
Commercial/Daily Life: Price tags, small menus, product labels, receipts, and warning signs (on packaging, food, etc.).
Environmental: Signs, billboards, and bus stop boards.
Business/Technical: Documents (reports, investor materials), forms, memos & notes, notices, graphs (pie charts, bar charts), and workflows/figures.
Metadata/Annotation (Potential): Future project phases may require adding basic captions or performing simple OCR transcriptions of the captured text.
What we’re looking for:
Must be currently living in Ukraine.
Native-level written and spoken fluency in Ukrainian.
Access to a smartphone with a high-quality camera and a stable internet connection.
Ability to strictly follow detailed photography and data entry guidelines
Important Banking Eligibility: Due to current international banking restrictions, all candidates based in sanctioned regions must have a bank account registered in a country outside sanctioned regions to receive international payments.
