JobStar is a discovery and information service—not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or party to any application, interview, offer, employment agreement, or dispute.
The service
JobStar indexes and organizes public job information and links visitors to employer-hosted application pages. Features and coverage may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Access is provided on an as-available basis.
Job information and freshness
Listings originate from public source data associated with employer applicant tracking systems. JobStar normalizes and republishes that information but does not independently create or approve the underlying role. Dates, salary, location, eligibility, benefits, requirements, and availability may be incomplete, delayed, changed, or incorrect.
A listing's presence on JobStar does not prove that an employer is actively reviewing applicants. Always verify the current employer page before relying on a listing or submitting information. The methodology explains the freshness signals and limitations.
Employer sites and applications
External links lead to services JobStar does not control. Employers and their providers set their own terms, privacy practices, accessibility, security, application questions, and hiring decisions. You are responsible for reviewing those terms and deciding what information to provide. JobStar is not responsible for third-party content, conduct, availability, or outcomes.
Acceptable use
You may use JobStar for lawful job discovery and ordinary research. You may not:
- interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass site security or access controls;
- use the service to distribute malware, spam, fraud, or deceptive job offers;
- misrepresent an affiliation with JobStar, an employer, or an applicant tracking provider;
- collect personal information from users through the site without authorization;
- copy or republish content in a way that violates applicable rights or source terms.
Ownership and attribution
JobStar's original software, design, branding, and editorial material are protected by applicable rights. Employer names, logos, trademarks, and job descriptions belong to or are attributable to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies the source of a listing and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Corrections, removals, and employer requests
Rights holders and employers may request correction or removal by following the contact and report procedure. Include the JobStar URL, official source, requested action, and public evidence. JobStar may remove or modify content while reviewing a request and may reject requests that cannot be verified.
No warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JobStar is provided without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, hiring outcome, or continued access. You use the service and external links at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JobStar and its maintainers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, lost data, or decisions made in reliance on a listing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an update means the current posted terms apply. For questions, reports, or formal notices, use the published contact channels.
